Bear Follows Royals on Caribbean Tour

I’ve just heard from my buddies over at PETA US who have sent a bear to greet the Royals at every stop they make on a tour of the Caribbean. As you know, the Royal Guards’ Caps are made from real bearskins and we are doing everything we can to put a stop to this silly and cruel tradition.

The first leg of the tour was Trinidad, and I’m told it was a huge success. Check out the pictures below which show the bear making waves with the locals and greeting Camilla and the Prince as they board a helicopter – all very exciting! Here’s a quick and cheeky report from the PETA US team while they were outside the President’s house in Trinidad:

“One of the Prince’s main security men jumped out of a car that was ahead of the Prince as he was coming back out. He ran over to us and said: ‘Will you be joining us on all of the island stops in the Caribbean?’ We said: ‘Maybe!’, before he hopped back into the moving car.”

Classic. Watch this space for an update…
