Almost 100 ‘Dogs’ and ‘Cats’ Line Up to Plead for Protection in Laboratories

Looks pretty good, doesn’t it? Almost 100 PETA supporters took part in an eye-catching photo opportunity at Marble Arch in London today to demand that the government not adopt lower standards of protection for animals in laboratories when it incorporates the EU’s new directive regulating animal experiments later this year. Adele Goes Vegetarian!

Multi-platinum recording artist Adele can melt hearts with her soulful voice, but her actions are saving lives. The singer told Radio 1 that she is leaving meat out of her repertoire.

Given the very nature of PETA’s work, this often means that I see disturbing and harrowing footage of cruelty to animals. Of course, PETA doesn’t just release racy videos or celebrity testimonials. Most of the videos you can watch on our site focus on investigations and shocking cruelty filmed by PETA affiliates.

So when I received the following video, pressed play and heard the cheerful music … Read more.
