The Ashes Menu: Vegan Diet a Winning Formula for Athletes

From in the ring and on the track, vegan athletes are proving that people don’t need dairy products and meat to compete. Meat-free athletes include mixed martial arts fighters Jake Shields and Mac Danzig and ultra-endurance racers Rich Roll and Brendan Brazier, amongst many others. Tattooed heartthrob Jade Dernbach may not fit the typical image of an English cricketer, but with his new ad for PETA, he’s decisively bowled cruelty out. The South African–born fast bowler, who plays for Surrey, is the latest star of our “Ink, Not Mink” campaign, which highlights the barbarity of the fur trade.

Cricketer Wayne Parnell Hits Circus Cruelty for Six in New PETA Ad

Cricketer Wayne Parnell has set his sights on a new opponent: circuses that force wild animals to perform unnatural and painful tricks.
