Win Jodie Marsh’s New T-Shirt for PETA!

You may remember me telling you about the new t-shirt that Jodie Marsh designed, with all profits going to PETA (read more about it here). Well my lovely readers, I have some good news – you can nab one for free!

All you need to do, is leave a comment here on what you most like about Jodie – be it her compassion for animals, her stint in Celebrity Big Brother or her, erm, other assets. But people please, let’s keep it clean. The t-shirts are from Kill The Scene Clothing and normally cost £14, so a right bargain to be had here.

We have 3 to give away, and the closing date is 1 August 2008, when I’ll pick the winners, contacting them the next day for their address. Sound good? Great, then let’s go! Oh, and make sure you read our terms and conditions and privacy policy before entering.

Good luck!

World Vegetarian Week: A Food Voucher for Your Recipe!

On Monday, World Vegetarian Week lands. A week of pure, unadulterated veggie fun and a great opportunity to recruit some friends and family members to this noble cause. If you’re already veg, you’ll know that there are thousands of recipes and delish products out there to gorge on – burgers, bacon butties and fish ‘n’ chips included. If you’re not already veg, this is the perfect week to give it a go!

If you have a vegetarian recipe – no matter how simple or complex – if you post it as a comment here, or email it over to me, you stand a chance of winning a £25 Redwood Foods voucher. Yup, that’s right, £25. That can buy you a whole lotta vegetarian burgers, sausages, bacon, fish-fingers and other tasty surprisingly veggie foods that Redwood stock.

I don’t even care if you post strange recipes that you hold dear, like tomato ketchup on Weetabix, or sugar sandwiches (yes, I know about you people). It’s all part of the fun.

You should read the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy first of course, and I’ll announce the winning recipe – and contact the winner – on Monday 26th May. Last entry to be considered for winning is Sunday 25th May, but feel free to carry on posting anyway – spread the veggie love.

Good luck!

Veganomicon: And the Winner is…

Thank you to everyone who entered the Veganomicon cookbook competition. Sadly you can’t all win, but one lucky lady has – congratulations, Sarah from Norwich! I’ll be sending you an email separately and posting the book to you first thing in the morning. Enjoy your baking spree and let me know how you get on, what your favourite recipe is, and so on. For those who didn’t win, don’t forget you can still grab a copy from Amazon, so dry those tears, put your apron on and ready, steady, cook! Also watch out for other competitions that I’ll be running - there’s a very exciting one in the pipeline…
