PETA Urges Met Police to Install Safeguards Against Hot Dog Deaths

Following the recent tragic deaths of Chay and Milly, the police dogs who died after being left in a hot vehicle on 26 June, we sent an urgent letter to Sir Paul Stephenson, Commissioner at New Scotland Yard, requesting that an independently powered temperature-monitoring and heat-alert system be installed in all dog-carrying police vehicles.
