Yesterday, the Dutch Parliament unanimously adopted a resolution against European Union subsidies which prop up the Spanish bullfighting industry. This excellent move will send a strong and timely signal to the Spanish Parliament, which is currently considering a ludicrous legislative proposal to promote and support bullfighting as a national past-time.
