Uri Geller Offers Ewan Venters Psychological Help to Quit Foie Gras

Uri_Geller_in_Russia2Magician, psychic and spoon-bender extraordinaire Uri Geller has just sent Fortnum & Mason CEO Ewan Venters a novel proposal. Like many other people who have learned about the cruelty of foie gras production, Uri can’t understand why Fortnum & Mason can continue to sell the revolting foodstuff and rightly concludes that anyone who can profit from this torture needs help!

Uri has kindly offered to use his hypnotic powers to allow Mr Venters to rediscover his compassion – here’s his letter in full:

Uri Geller letter

Thanks to Uri for speaking out for the birds who are tortured for foie gras! Our fingers are crossed in the hope that Fortnum’s boss will take Uri up on his offer and learn to feel some empathy for the suffering of force-fed ducks and geese.

Send Ewan Venters your own polite suggestions (hypnotic or otherwise) about how to turn over a compassionate new leaf and ditch foie gras by visiting our action page: StopFortnumAndMasonFoieGrasCruelty.com.

Mr Venters, please give this offer serious consideration, anyone who is still willing to stock this vile product of suffering is clearly in need of help. Thank you Uri!

Animals are great in providing us with food but torture & unethical treatment
    of them is NOT !!!
Eat them if we must but make sure that they are treated well during their short lifespan. People tend to forget that these are living creatures & that they too hurt & suffer if we break their limbs purposely or unintentionally or in the case of Foie Gras…..being forced fed till they’re BURSTING !!!!
When their time is up ….kill them swiftly with a clean move …. but No prolonged suffering & pain.

  5. […] Uri Geller recently suggested that the company’s CEO, Ewan Venters, must have a psychological block preventing him from feeling compassion towards the geese who are tortured for foie gras. This event should help him grasp the horrific reality of what “gavage”, or force-feeding, means for the terrified animals. […]
