VICTORY: Air China Will Stop Shipping Monkeys to Laboratories

Following vigorous campaigning by PETA and its affiliates, Air China has confirmed that it’s joining nearly every other airline worldwide by refusing to transport primates to laboratories.

This victory is due to the thousands of concerned people around the world who contacted Air China through PETA affiliate action alerts, generating tens of thousands of e-mails to Air China’s offices around the world.

Non-human primates are transported from countries such as China, Mauritius, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia to the EU and US to be imprisoned in laboratories and tormented in experiments. Some are bred in captivity in cramped, squalid monkey factory farms, while others are stolen from their families in the wild.

With Air China no longer participating in this bloody trade, experimenters will find it harder to get their hands on more victims.

Thank you so much for your efforts for animals. We could never have achieved this or anything we do without you!

Im so proud of what PETA and the people who share their views and beliefs are doing for the animals of this world, the hard work and dedication that these people do is amazing, they are truly passionate and commited to what they belive is right. I have always had a love and respect for all living creatures, experiments and the cruelty involved on animals is wrong and sinful and inhumane, what gives ANYONE the right to inflict pain and suffering on animals, and to those so called PEOPLE who actually get paid for doing this is beyond belief in the name of science SHAME ON YOU!

One small victory for monkeys, hundreds more to go with China, don’t forget the bear farms, kept in small cages so their bile can be harvested, they still force feed ducks, foi gras is still sold thoughout the world, crushed rhino horns and tiger bones for their chinese medicine, fur farms from dogs and cats in many cases skinned alive. The only animal they don’t appear to abuse is the PANDA

This is another step to helping animals worldwide, but more needs to be done to stop the disgusting fur trade in China and other countries. The people who work on these farms seem to enjoy their work even laughing whilst the animal is suffering at their hands.
