PETA To Jimmy Carr: Avoid Taxing Your System – Go Vegan
Recently, PETA contacted Jimmy Carr to ask him to consider putting his face to our latest campaign.
With animal products linked to obesity, heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, we hope the famous comedian can help to tout the numerous health benefits of a vegan diet by starring in a tongue-in-cheek ad with the tagline “Avoid Taxing Your System – Go Vegan”.
The British Medical Association has shown that vegetarians have lower rates of obesity, coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, large-bowel disorders and gallstones. By abandoning animal products, meat-eaters can lower their cholesterol levels and even reverse heart disease. Also, after recommendations by the Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition, the Department of Health recently advised Britons to eat less meat in order to cut their risk of cancer.
We’ve included a mock-up version of the ad below. Let us know if you think Jimmy will take us up on our offer!

very good job peta meat is not only destroying our body only but also our thinking status is falling down …………..go vegan go green

GUYS WE ARE FORGETTING THE MAIN PRINCIPLE, its not all about OUR health, the human race is selfish enough already. it is about the animals that are tortured everyday for meat. STOP TALKING ABOUT OBESITY AND HEART DISEASE, IM HERE FOR THE ANIMALS AND SO IS PETA SO LEAVE IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS.
*IF YOU DONT CARE ABOUT THE ANIMALS
I dont think that Jimmy Carr is the best voice for veganism/PETA. I saw him on Top Gear saying that his last job was a marketer for a petrol company (and laughing about how easy it was), he may have been joking , but if not someone who made money promoting the large scale destruction of our planet is probably not who you want promoting veganism.
I think any positives about veganism such as health benifits that make people think are brilliant.if this results in people becoming vegan then it is a success for animals regardless of why they chose not to eat meat.
you shouldent just change yes people are agiast animals an ou can help by donating and doesent mean you have to go vegan ……as think of the knock on effect such as repopulation , not enough vegetables for people and supermarket would go out of busness as proberly half there money comes from meat an cloth’s …….and people walking around naked will encourege rape an pedofilism ect
“When people come over to my house for dinner, I always have a vegetarian option. They can make do, or they can **** off!” – Jimmy Carr
