Why Are People So Animated Over Beijing Olympics?

Matt here! Back from the bloggers graveyard while Alexia is away, it’s been almost three months since they let me loose on here and now you’ve got me for a whole 10 days! I can feel the blogosphere swelling with envy already! Right now – down to business:

This August sees the start of the 2008 Olympics – hosted in Beijing, China – but just why are people so animated over it?

Perhaps this will give you some idea and also make you think about the issues that are facing animals in China, that still continue to this day. I don’t want to give too much away so watch for yourself.

Now keep coming back y’hear, I’ve got some exciting stuff planned while the cat is away.Your friendly neighbourhood Matt

p.s. Don’t forget the Morrissey tickets competition

that was horrid.. how about you send this to the Chinese Government.. they need to know what other people think about the way they treat animals in that country.. ps.. there is no pic of the moon bears.. that’s another atrocity..
but having said that. so is bull fighting and the way Canadians treat baby seal by literally bludgeoning and bashing them to death.. and fox hunting is/was pretty gruesome too a while ago here in UK.. and fois gras in France..
Frankly animal abuse exists all OVER the world .. oh.. and the fur trade.. that’s mainly to supply for western markets in Europe and USA.. how about you get all those western woman to STOP BUYING FUR?????? that would certainly help stem stop this huge GHASTLY trade..

Its not just women but kids and grandparents buying miniture cats and other life-like animals using these furs. Yet they most of these shoppers likely love animals and have several themselves. I wished these humans awoke from their deep slumber.
