A toss up between two ubercool items: my Bjorn Borg black boyshorts (BB have a send your ‘not sexy’ underwear to a warmonger campaign which you can see on their website) and my black Sailor Jerry ‘Bianca’ t shirt. Cool as. All SJ’s stuff is sourced and manufactured locally so noone gets fucked over in the process. I think the shorts win, But then again …

I wouldn’t probably be the first one to say that if I had to make that choice it would be my own SKIN.

But I want to share with you few reasons:

First, it protects my soul that has become very environment conscious and friendly, always considering the fact that we are not the only creatures on our beautiful planet.

Second, it is a very important part of my body, freed from any cruelty fashion, food or cosmetic products.

Third, it mirrors my lifestyle and exposes the truth about my heart. My heart, that feeds on love to our planet rather than ignorance and brutality.

It is soft, sensitive, comforting… just beautiful.

For the rest of my life
What shall I shall wear?
Most of my garments
Are becoming threadbare

If I wore my heart on my sleeve
I’d die of a cold
Or possibly boredom from
Being constantly told:

“cover it up -
you’re not very thin
Nobody wants to see
Your freckly, pale skin”

Au contraire mon amie
Bourgeois Boheme has shown me
All I need on this flesh
Is an accessory
Or two - maybe three

So for the rest of my life
I’ll look fabulous and chic
Wearing only Borgeois Boheme
From their online boutique.
