Shocking Undercover Investigation on Turkey Factory Farms

We have just unveiled the results of a truly shocking undercover investigation by PETA US, into American turkey farms owned by Aviagen Turkeys Inc.
Aviagen Turkeys Inc. is affiliated with the Aviagen Group, the self-proclaimed “world’s leading poultry breeding company.” Aviagen Group has two UK offices and facilities across Europe which produce turkeys under the brand British United Turkeys. When I say the findings were shocking, I’m not kidding. Try these examples for starters: employees punching turkeys, striking their heads against scaffolding, allegations of injecting turkey semen and sulphuric acid into their heads and pinning a hen against the floor and pretending to rape her.
Watch the video and read the brave investigator’s log notes to find out more about the kind of things that happen on Aviagen’s turkey farms. There are also expert statements on the investigation and a photo gallery for you to look over.
With Christmas just over one month away, this is such a crucial time to ditch the turkey from your dinner plate, if you haven’t already, of course. Turkeys on factory farms live a life of utter misery, and die in pain just for a fleeting moment of ‘festive’ taste, when there are dozens of tasty alternatives for you to sink your teeth into.

I urge everyone to watch this video and forward it to friends and family members. I used to eat turkey but it’s things like this that make me so glad I don’t anymore.
