Pink Calls Huntsman Prince William ‘A Bit Rude’

There’s not much our Pink won’t do for animals. The outspoken singer and long-time PETA pal has hit out at Prince William for his failure to reply to her letter about his animal-killing hobbies. Pink has dubbed the Royal “a bit rude” after five years (five years?!) of waiting on a response from him, and you can hardly blame her. The pop-rock princess said, “I’m still waiting for a reply to my letter to Prince William. He wanted me to play at a concert for his 21st birthday, but I wrote back saying I wouldn’t until he explained why he went hunting. It’s a bit rude, isn’t it?”

Prince William isn’t the only person whose Royal feathers Pink has ruffled either. Her letter to his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, has also gone unanswered. She added, “I also wrote to the Queen… asking why bearskins couldn’t be made of synthetic material… I don’t get that we can’t question people just because of their position in society. I support PETA; I want to make people think about their responsibilities. I don’t care if they have a crown.”

Don’tcha just love her? But when will fans see the lovely lady back on tour again? Not until another contentious animal rights issue is cleared up by the looks of it. “Before I hit the road I’d like horse-drawn carriages banned from Times Square in New York. “It’s hard to alter things that have been going on for so long and that make a lot of money but it’s very important.” The battle goes on. Make sure you also check out her video on the cruel practice of mulesing, where lambs in the Australian wool industry are mutilated in an attempt to prevent flystrike.

We take our hat off to the lady Pink for speaking out for a noble and humane crusade to make the world a better, kinder and compassionate place for all living beings.Pink should be knighted for her bravery for speaking out and using her wealth, power and position for a good cause and to be courageous.Indeed, late Princess Diana,if she were alive, would have been kindred spirit with Pink in that she did not let her power, position or wealth compromise her crusade for noble causes.eg banning of land mines and also spoke out.One wonders, whether she would have asked the Princes not only to reply to Pink as a English Courtesey but also asked them to stop killin animals for the hell of it.Yesterday on BBC TV they showed the inside of the womb of several animal babes grow from conception to birth and arrival on mother earth and anyone with human feelings, emotion would straight away see how human the animals with us human animals wo can speak and express our selves but alas animals cant.Hope and Pray that Senator Obama when he becomes President will pass laws in USA and the world to ban hunting with hounds as our government has done and make folks who abuse thier power and position and flout humane and just laws as persona non grata from the civilised world.
Finally, how can we contact and invite to come to UK for a grand fund raising concert to promote work of PETA and also highlight the plight of the blessed animals who are in our tender care and mercy, with best wishes and prayer of a new world order where the prophesey of Issiah would come true.i.e where the lamb and kid will sit with a Lion and eat grass in a new nirvana.

The Royals should stop wasting tax-payers money on out-dated and cruel “hobbies” like hunting.

Isn’t it a little bit insensitive to comment that the Queen Mother has not replied to letters? Her Majesty had a very close personal and working relationship with her mother and anybody who has lost a parent will know these sort of comments aren’t taken kindly. I agree with the basis of Pinks letters but surely she must know, as someone who also receives a great deal of mail, that the royals do not personally read all their mail. The Queen is given a selection approved by Her Ladies in waiting, who have known Her Majesty for many years and are aware of which letters the Queen would be happy to recieve and be able to take action upon. The Royal family has not been allowed control over most matters for over 400 years since the commoners took power through parliament. Surely it would be more efficient to take such matters to the people in charge of such things. I for example am in contact with my local MP, Dr Julian Lewis who is shadow minister of defense and has direct influence over matters of the armed forces such as uniform and bear skin hats.

A suggestion to Pink if she wants to achieve anything with our Royal family is not to offend or upset them by making comments about the Queen Mother. She needs to gain their respect and trust, then maybe they will listen. Perhaps request an audience with HRH The Prince Charles who, an enthusiastic hunter, also takes great interest in the opinions of the people and other cultures. In my eyes he is the most easily changable.

We haven’t always all seen the wrongs in what we do so therefore we must not judge and critisise those who are yet to learn.

Caroline, where in this blog or quotes from Pink does it say anything about the Queen’s mother? She wrote to the Queen…

One of the few celebrities I actually admire. She’s consistently showed her support for the animals.
