Otis Ferry Charged with Attacking Anti-Hunt Monitors

The son of Roxy Music’s Bryan Ferry, and notorious pro-hunting stalwart Otis Ferry, has been charged with attacking and robbing two female anti-hunt activists. The hunt saboteurs were filming the fox hunt in Gloucestershire to ensure the hunters weren’t breaking any laws (which prohibit hunting with dogs), when Otis allegedly tried to wrestle the cameras from their hands. The girls were treated for bruises and shock, and another man is reported to have broken a car window and hit one of the activists with a radio antenna he had snapped off the car roof.

Dear oh dear, Otis. Not doing your cause much good, are you? Let the courts decide what to do with him on May 7th when he’ll appear before Cheltenham magistrates. We at PETA believe fox hunting is a vile sport, with dogs or without – see one of our amazing activists below in a previous run-in with Otis on a Burberry catwalk over his choice of associations.

Get that guy out of my face. Ok so he has got that extra gene that makes you stupid and too tall but that is no excuse for beating a women. what does his mother think of her son hitting a women or is that normal in the ferry household?

That is disgusting. If i were that women i would take him to court too. Assaulting a women damaging her car, no much wonder she was treated for shock. I am shocked, shocked and disgusted not at his fox hunting antics (which yes are illegal too) but assault a women in broad daylight. If that was one of my mates they would be looking definitely be looking at a sentence. If Pete Docherty is being made an example of then so should this character. It goes hand in hand cruelty to animals cruelty to women/children and anyone smaller than them. Bad Bad Bad. I will be looking at the outcome of this case. A man cannot attack a women, or can they? Is there two cases here one for hunting with dogs, which is banned and two assult?

I find it incredibly sad and frustrating, that such anachronistic and morally indefensible views/conduct still persist. One longs for the day when all sentient life is both respected and afforded the rights that we humans enjoy. spiritually, such individuals transgress a multitude of laws, leaving their humanity sufficiently debased.

spineless little piece of crap!, try hitting a grown man who is squaring up to you, not non-violent female journalists! coward of the highest order!
Theres obviously something the brave and mighty hunters are trying to hide there eh!

One fears that if or when David Cameron replaces Gordon Brown as PM, Cameron’s first move will be to repeal the present Hunting Act. It’s a proper dog’s dinner as it was meant to be but at least it was better than nothing. Many New Labour bigwigs were luke warm over banning blood sports but at least a ban was a popular move.
It’s up to the EU to ban all blood sports.

I’m sure Otis’ dirty, woman-chasing father will be very proud of his skinny runt of a son, who, as the colloquialism goes, is “following in father’s footsteps”, but this time after OUR native wildlife. I doubt he attracts many “nice” girls at all so a quickie behind a hedge while out on the nag is about the height of his fun. While I’m sure Bryan named him after Otis Redding, the fact that he is also named after a common lift company manufacturer tells me that his parents knew he’d need some kind of mechanical help to reach his brain. In closing, like other people, I am terrified that the Conservatives will repeal the hunting act if they are ever put in power again. It will be hell on earth - for them!
