Armani Rabbit Fur Campaign Makes Its London Debut!

Armani, Armani, Armani. Where should I start? Last month, the lovely Gillian Anderson kicked off a PETA US campaign against Giorgio Armani, for his complete and utter failure to keep his word and remain fur-free. This video investigation of a rabbits kicking and screaming during slaughter on a fur farm, will show you what he is supporting. Since then, a tirade of celebrities have lent their voices to the campaign, including Sir Paul McCartney and Pamela Anderson, all upset over Armani’s penchant for rabbit pelts. PETA US has also written to many Armani-wearing stars, including Josh Hartnett, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, Glenn Close, and Cate Blanchett, urging them to use their influence with the designer to get him to keep his fur-free pledge.

Now it’s time us Brits got involved and gave him what for! Check out the (totally gross but) amazing Pinochio posters we unveiled outside Armani’s flagship store in Knightsbridge today – perfect for Halloween, don’tcha think? If you missed the protest, you can still help. Watch this video, take action and make sure you forward it to everyone you know.

What a leather-faced old man. He steals the lives of beautiful rabbits because he’s so damn ugly himself

When will designers start keeping their word about fur? And when will they realise that faux is the way to go?!

His heart must be as hard as the skin on his face to authorise such barbaric acts on these beautiful, helpless creatures.

Every year around the word people eat 900.000.000 of rabbits (1 rabbit every 6 people in the world). Mostly in Europe (350m) and China (350m). Is this wrong? Should 900 millions rabbit furs be burned? I think that when fur is used because we eat the animals meat, it is fine. I’m absolutely against the furs of non eatable animals. I respect people that have different opinions.

PS. I agree that international law should impose to all countries acceptable ways to kill eatable animals, and I’m thinking about cows, pigs, chickens…. And of course rabbits.
